Greetings and Introductions
One of the best ways to learn a language is by immersion. You have to hear and speak it until it becomes natural. The only way to do this is really by practice, and to practice with a native speaker. If you have a Spanish speaking friend have them read this example of a mini-conversation with you, or if it is more natural for you, simply engage them in conversation and have fun with it.
Peter: Hello, my name is Peter. What's your name?
Pedro: Hola, me llamo Pedro: ¿Cómo se llama?
Rita: My name is Rita. Nice to meet you.
Rita: Me llamo Rita. Mucho gusto en conocerle.
Peter: The pleasure is mine. Where are you from?
Pedro: El gusto es mío. ¿De dónde es Ud.?
Rita: I just moved here from Argentina.
Rita: Yo me mude aquí de Argentina.
Peter: Well, it was nice to meet you!
Pedro: Bueno, ¡mucho gusto en conocerle!
Rita: Nice to meet you too. Goodbye!
Rita: Mucho gusto en conocerle también. ¡Adiós!
Peter: Good bye.
Pedro: Adiós.
Here's an example of how to introduce someone else:
Juan: Pedro, I'd like to introduce you to my cousin Teresa. She and her family just moved here from Peru. Teresa, this is my good friend Pedro.
Juan: Pedro, me gustaría presentarte a mi prima Teresa. Ella y su familia se acaban de mudar aquí del Perú. Teresa, éste es mi buen amigo Pedro.
