Are you new to the Learn Spanish Challenge? Begin at Day 1.

Congratulations for making it to Day 64 of the Learn Spanish Challenge! I am a believer in positive thinking and how it can improve every aspect of your life; however, I sometimes get caught up in a little too much dreaming and not enough doing. Are you the same way? Dreaming is a good thing because it can help you choose your vision, but doing helps you become who you want to be.

In today’s video, Dave guides you through Unit 5 of the Describing Characteristics Section. Today’s workload is similar to yesterday’s workload in regards to length. Dave also encourages you to keep a Spanish to English dictionary handy. If you have a smartphone, there are several good dictionary apps. There are also a few good pocket manuals. When you are stumped about what someone has said, it is very helpful to quickly look up a specific word or phrase so that you can understand the gist of what was said.

Congratulations for making it to Day 63 of the Learn Spanish Challenge! It doesn’t matter how long you have desired to learn Spanish, but it matters that you have taken matters into your own hands now. Leave your regrets behind you and do what you want to do now.

In today’s video, Dave guides you through Unit 4 of the Describing Characteristics Section. Today’s workload is a bit larger than normal, but do the best you can. Remember that each week you get 2 days to rest and review. Dave also encourages you to write down new words that you don’t know when you hear them. Study them throughout the day, whether it’s on your smartphone or a 3×5 card.

Congratulations for making it to Day 62 of the Learn Spanish Challenge! Did you look at today’s quote? Did you know that continuing to learn can extend your life? Well, it certainly can extend and enrich your life.

In today’s video, Dave guides you through Unit 3 of the Describing Characteristics Section. There is the same amount of lessons today as there was yesterday. Dave also encourages you to visualize Spanish as much as possible. When you see a fork, try to think of it as a tenedor instead of a fork then translating it to tenedor. The Visual Link Spanish methodology helps you visualize Spanish vocabulary by providing moving images for each of the words and phrases you learn.

Are you new to the Learn Spanish Challenge? Begin at Day 1.

Congratulations for making it to Day 60 of the Learn Spanish Challenge! You are chasing the dream of learning Spanish and communicating in an entirely new language. You should be proud of the progress you have made. You have run hundreds of mental miles to get this far. There is no reason that you should stop now.

In today’s video, Dave guides you through the rest the beginning of the Describing Characteristics Section. There are quite a few lessons for today, but remember that you get 2 days of rest each week to catch up and review. Dave also encourages you to be reading aloud, whether it be on the internet or from a book you check out at the library. Work on your pronunciation. Remember that clarity is more important than speed. Do your best to understand the gist of what you are reading. Don’t feel like you have to look up every single new word in the dictionary. It’s perfectly okay if you look up a few words to understand what they mean though.

Are you new to the Learn Spanish Challenge? Begin at Day 1.

Congratulations for making it to Day 59 of the Learn Spanish Challenge! You should be very proud of the progress you have made. Anybody who tells you that learning a new language is easy is either a genius or they haven’t tried to learn a language on their own. I like today’s quote because years down the road you may truly look back on your hard work and be grateful for the experience and the character you built in the process. It will be fun to look back on new people you met as well.

In today’s video, Dave guides you through the rest of the Additional Practice Unit and the Becoming Acquainted Section. He also encourages you to watch a Spanish movie with Spanish subtitles. This will help with both audio and reading Spanish comprehension. This will also help you to avoid translating everything word-for-word. You want to start thinking in Spanish and avoiding the English language when possible. As you hear more and more Spanish, it will seem like it is being spoken slower and slower. I can remember when I first heard native Spanish speakers and how fast they spoke. I didn’t think I would ever be able to understand them. With time and study, it got better and better. You will go through the same process.

Congratulations for making it to Day 58 of the Learn Spanish Challenge! You can’t learn Spanish overnight. Learning a new language takes time, and you need to remember to take it one step at a time.

In today’s video, Dave guides you through the Additional Practice Unit of the Becoming Acquainted section. He also reminds you to take some time and read a Spanish newspaper, which you will probably find online. When you are reading the Spanish newspaper, do your best to not translate everything word-for-word. Simply try to get the gist of what you are reading.

Today’s quote of the day is very applicable to learning Spanish because you can’t predict the adventures you will experience because you have learned Spanish. No two adventures will be exactly the same. Make your adventures and your own stories.

In today’s video, Dave guides you through Unit 5 of the Becoming Acquainted section. He also encourages you to join us on Facebook to practice your Spanish and connect with other people on the same or similar journeys as you.
